Synopsis: A film about friendship in a hospital, which started between a ten-year old boy and a young man with damaged spinal cord. The young man recounts stories about pirates to the boy, which revive in the boy's imagination. This friendship rescues the young man from the decision to commit suicide.
A young actor with his backbone broken is being treated in a hospital. He is invalidated for good and he wills not to live further on. He gets acquainted with a 10-year-old boy from the adjoining room. They make friends. In fact, the actor intends to use the kid to provide him with poison. He starts telling a marvelous fairy tale. The boy is fascinated. Gradually, this pre-planned friendship develops into sincere devotion and affection. The actor realizes that life is worth living it, even if paralyzed.
