Synopsis: Literary adaptation of Turgenev’s story “On the Eve”(1860). The music is by one of the world’s skilled film composers, the Armenian Aram Khachaturian. The Bulgarian dramatist Kamen Zidarov, had adapted the same novel for the stage, and quite successfully.
