Synopsis:
The action of the film is set in the village of Mogla, at the end of the sixties. This place is found near the border and is inhabited by Bulgarian Mohammedans. Marina, a young girl of 18, comes to this village, appointed as a teacher. In a short time she gets to know the way of life of the people and their customs. She goes through and witnesses the forcible change of their names and religion. The men's turbans are collected in the village, while the militiamen take off by force the women's bloomers. The mayor-himself, orders all passports to be handed in and substituted by new ones - where the new Bulgarian names are to be put down... In this way commences the beginning and end of the so-called "revival process"...
